i cant make it so it makes a sound when i recive a text!

how do i make my ipod make a sound whem i recive a text?

To turn notifications on/off:

for iOS:

- Settings to Notifications
- You'll see textPlus as an option towards the bottom.
- Tap it and turn all of the options on/off

for Android (in the textPlus home screen)

- Tap "menu" key
- Select "Settings"
- Scroll down to "Pop-ups" uncheck the box to turn on, check box to turn on
