A friend of mine is using his text plus # to text me on my phone using my phone number, I don't have text plus. Will my phone number show up on his phone bill statement?

Using textPlus is an alternative to using one's mobile service, so no, his bill will not reflect this activity. The exception is, however, if he is using a limited data plan, he could go over that limit as a big data user. Using wifi avoids the a data plan.
